ONLINE SERVICE LAUNCHED TO FIND, RESERVE AND PAY FOR PARKING

Friday Jun 5th, 2015

Baltimore, MD, June 5, 2015– On May 18, 2015, a new website was launched that makes it easier for parkers to locate a parking garage or lot that meets their needs, reserve a space in that garage, and pay for it ahead of time.

“We’re very excited to make this available to parkers,” said Pete Little, Executive Director of the Parking Authority of Baltimore City. “It’s a great service for parkers and for the City of Baltimore. One third of traffic congestion is caused by drivers searching for parking. When visitors drive straight to their parking destination, they reduce congestion and emissions.”

Visitors to www.baltimoreparking.com(External Link) can enter their destination on the website, compare garages on price, distance, and amenities, and select the facility that works best for them. Customers can purchase their parking online and present a confirmation code or barcode at the facility. The following discounts are available until July 15 when using the promo codes below.

All off-street garages and lots in Baltimore City are welcome to join the website, which is powered by Click and Park, a proprietary parking reservation and payment engine provided by Parkmobile.

“Ticket holders have been raving about the new site,” said Frank Remesch, Jr., General Manager of the Royal Farms Arena. “They like purchasing their tickets and their parking online before the show.”

The website address is https://baltimoreparking.com/.

The Parking Authority of Baltimore City is a 501(c)(3) corporation whose mission is to find, or create, and implement parking solutions for Baltimore City, and to be the resource on all things “parking” in Baltimore.
